crocus

At last some beautiful crocus ... i had to wait for the right moment to catch this bee !

The close-up shots and details are amazing. Crocus is usually the first flower to bloom in late Winter/early Spring. Unfortunately, I haven't seen any of them in NYC yet.

It`s so beautiful, that I got almost tears on my eyes.
It takes here still many weeks before our first crocus, but they also are waiting very impatiently under the snow :))

How lovely! The purple veins of the flower are just exquisite. I'm glad you waited until the bee was there. It was worth it. These photos make me long for spring!

We have a lot of crocuses here too, but no bees yet. Nice shots.

Beautiful photos of beautiful specimens. I've never seen the details on the petals like that.
I only remember many white ones on Rigi Mt. in Switzerland when we lived there 20 years ago. They are such special flowers.
